The Museum is located within Framlingham Castle on the first floor of the “Poorhouse” (above the Cafe/Shop).
Visitors are directed to visit the Museum at the end of the Castle's ‘wall walk', which is accessed by stairs. Visitors who are unable or unwilling to partake in the ‘wall walk' could miss the opportunity to visit the Museum. However access can now be gained from the new mezzanine floor, which houses the Castle's main exhibition area, through a door at the opposite end to this exhibition which should be left open. if this door is closed then it can be opened by a member of the English Heritage staff.
Further information regarding access to the Castle can be found here Access to Framlingham Castle
